The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau present the Miami Spa Month 2013. The Greater Miami and its beaches are quite known for the luxury spas that belong to the list of “Best Spas in America”. These spa facilities are favorites of the people coming from around the world. Celebrate Spa Month from July to August 2013 in the 6th Annual Miami event. Special treatments can be enjoyed for $99 at the best and premier spas.

There are several reasons to stay in Miami during the hot summer months. There is less tourists, enjoy the Miami Spice restaurant month, dip into the crazy summer deals of hotels and spas. Take advantage of your favorite massages that coats half of what they actually do the rest of the year during the Miami Spa Month. The fun starts on July 1 and ends on August 31. There are over three dozen local spas offering luxe spa treatments, ranging from ancient barefoot massage to personal foot mistresses, and every bit of these costs only $99 as previously mentioned.

Best of Miami Spa Month

  • The Ritz-Carlton Spa, South Beach: For the Spa Month, indulge in classic treatments like the Ritz-Carlton Signature Facial for 80 minutes or the massage for only $99. For the normal season, these treatments cost $200. For the more adventurous women and men, book a SPAshiatsu wherein a therapist gives an ancient Asian barefoot massage.
  • Lapis Spa, Fontainebleau Miami Beach: The two-story spa is equipped with a coed jet-pool, offering 50 minutes of traditional Swedish, hot stone and unique massage. And as a bonus, when you book your massage from Tuesday to Thursday, your $99 will also include a Lapis manicure or “Soak Me”, “Time in Lapis” bath.
  • Acqualina Spa by ESPA, Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach: For the glorious spa month, you can sample the award-winning luxury spa treatments. For just $99, you can already enjoy a blissful 50-minute Swedish massage with a choice of scalp treatment or foot ritual, facial, or a facial and massage combo.
  • Agua Spa at The Delano Hotel: There is yet another reason to stop by the beautiful and impressive Philippe Starck-designed Delano Hotel. For Spa Month, Agua Spa is offering a $250-Vitamin Boast Facial for a price of $99. It also features longer treatments like the 60-minute Melting Lavender Massage.
  • The Standard Spa, Miami Beach: This spa facility is offering their 60-minute Thai on Table massage for $99 during Spa Month. And for the same price, you can also get the 45-minute Standard rubdown followed by a Turkish Hamam Rub and Scrub and a herbal bath.

Other Things to Do in Miami

After a nice long day of pampering, you can challenge yourself to a round of golf. Greater Miami comes with many things to brag about when it comes to golf courses and the like. It is a place filled with the most difficult golf courses which are located in luxurious resorts. Some are even rated in the top 10 courses by Golfweek.
